Walking for Elena
Those of you who have clicked through my scrapbook of Italy may recall my friend Elena, who I met for the first time in Rome, despite the fact she lives about 75 miles from me in Michigan. That's a different story, though. If you met Elena, you would like her too; she's one of those kind of people.
If you met her, you would be compelled, as I am, to do something to help her and the 400,000 people in the US like her who are suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. It's a disease with many terrible symptoms and no cure. It's not yet fully known what even causes it. There are lots of questions to be answered; many people to help.
On April 21, I will be taking a few small steps for the cause as I participate in the Christopher & Banks MS Walk in Ann Arbor, MI. If you'd like to help Elena or any of the other many people facing a overwhelming and painful battle, please visit the link above and do what you can. Every step, every act, every dollar helps.
