Re-New Orleans

Back from the French Quarter Festival and I'm happy to report New Orleans is as vibrant and festive as ever. Now they just need you to visit. Tourism is down post-Katrina and there is no reason it should be.

Aside from various acts of the FQF, we enjoyed memorable performances by Jamil Sharif at Maison Bouron and Big Al Carson at the Funky Pirate.

It was a great trip. Looking forward to returning soon.
