TV Fanatics Claim Victory
Jericho fans (myself included) upset over the premature cancellation of the intriguing series, can raise a glass of ale today (or perhaps a bag of peanuts) to celebrate as CBS has surrendered to the outrage and outcry and has vowed to air at least 7 more episodes, and possibly more, depending on ratings.
The network was impressed by the display of viewer passion, which included the delivery of 50,000 pounds of peanuts to its New York offices. In the season finale, a character replies "Nuts!" to a demand that the beleaguered town of Jericho surrender
